Setting up an external file for authentication

Hi, We are using TeamSite 6.7.2 on Linux OS. When we tried to use external file for authentication, we are facing an issue.

Authentication setting in iw.cfg:
-------------------------------
[authentication]
authenticate_by=file
password_file=/opt/httpd/etc/pass.file

After this we restarted TeamSite. But while trying to login from UI, it shows below error.

Invalid argument

Are we missing something in the iw.cfg file configuration?

We got it running. After we restarted the TS server, it started working. Yesterday also we had followed the same process, but not sure why it was not working that time.
