how to make java templating ui as default ui?

How do we set the Java UI as the default templating UI?

We want authors to use java templating ui instead of web ui.

We have TS552 and it has switch ui option only for editor and above roles.

Any help??

There is an iw.cfg switch "use_java_ui" that might do something good for you. I don't recall exactly what behavior that switch governs. You might want to refer to your manuals and/or experiment with it.
