What does OD read for host for license ?

the license info java for OD is crashing, so I cannot get OD running.

Take a look at this one, sounds similar

before you go throu all that, try to put the ip/hostname as your first line in c:\winnt\system32\drivers\etc\hosts (just like we do in linux). you might have to restart windows.

There is a kb article on Interwoven's support site that explain how the OD gets the hostname. Can't recall the kb # off hand...
