Hi.. i am trying to figure out how to show two directories in a single window i could able to do one .i have attached the .ipl file.. When we click on button ..We are calling a callout which inturn will call a javascrpit funtion and we are passing item,type and type1 as parameters where item and item1 are the directories paths and it is calling to .ipl file that i have attached...

It's always interesting to see what someone tries to do with my code (since I wrote 99% of what you posted) - however what you're suggesting does not really make sense for a browser (with the notion of being able to traverse directories and sub-directories) unless you're talking about two completely parallel directory structures that can be navigated as one - are you?

With that in mind - the code you would need to modify would be around line 104 of the original script (114 of your modified version) in which the opendir/readdir code takes place.

The logic would be fairly straight forward at that point:

I still think the idea of doing this is highly questionable, but that's the basics of what you'd need to do.

Do you work directly for Avid Technology or are you a hired consultant or sub-contractor there?

If you want me to write the code for you - pay me for my time and effort (including the time it takes to get a full understanding of this questionable "requirement") - otherwise: read books/web pages/etc., experiment, and learn how to do it yourself.

Note - you really should make a point of getting to understand the code you want to modify it before you do so - which I am pretty sure you did not do.
