Hello all, I'm running Teamsite 7.2.1 on Linux. Has any had an issue where the "copy", not the "copy to", fails to work? For example, when we want to copy a file or DCR we check the file and click on "copy" in the "edit" menu item. We get the screen that asks for the destination. We type in the new file name, click okay and get a blank window where the file list was. It comes back when we refresh the browser but the file never copies. We tried an iwcp on the command line and that works okay. We can fix this by stopping and starting the Teamsite service. It will work for a week or so then start failing again.Thank you,
Any specific browser, or all of them?Browsers aside, I saw this in 7.1 where a user had insufficient (a weird combination of) permissions to copy the file, and the screen just crapped out silently. However, there were CSAuthorizationExceptions recorded in the server logs.
Yes this is a very much known issue, what this says is that you had some sort of a glitch in your installation. Couple of things i would suggest you to do, check the logs, i would look at content_center.log file in the Application Container first. What all compononts did you guys install till now?If you think your installation was perfect, I would call support and open a case. The way we resolved it was that we had to bounce our box, this might not be the case with you guys. But if it is Dev Environment, you might certainly do so.HTH
We check a few logs but it appears to be an unhandled error. We will take a look at the content_center.log like you suggested. I'd like to think our installation was perfect. We did install SitePublisher for the first time with this new version. We've been stopping and re-starting the TeamSite server to resolve the problem but keeps comming back after about a week or so. Did you bounce your Teamsite service our the entire server? Thanks Again.
