Teamsite 5.5 not able to get result for some branches while using the "List Modified"

Hi All,

In Teamsite 5.5, when we click on view-> list modified it shows all the modified files in the workarea. but recently for some branches the list modified command gives blank result though there are modified files.

What could be the reason for not displaying modified files for some branches?

I don't know the answer but do you realise that ts5.5 is out of support for about 5 (five!!!) year?

Besides 5.5 being absolutely ancient and I believe no longer supported (even to the extent that Autonomy says they "support" all older releases -- 5.5 and it's EOL date pre-date Autonomy's acquisition of Interwoven) .... the View > List Modified command works based on your current working directory within the GUI.

I.e. - suppose you have a directory structure in your workarea like this:

./html/
./images/
./templatedata/
./templatedata/category/
./templatedata/category/dtype/
./templatedata/category/dtype/data/

If you're sitting at the root of the workarea and do View > List Modified, perhaps you see something like:

./html/foo.htm
./templatedata/category/dtype/data/foo.xml

If you were, instead, sitting within the

./html/

directory and did View > List Modified, you'd only see:

./foo.htm

and if you were in the

./images

directory when you did View > List Modified, you'd see nothing.

The other thing you need to verify is if you are doing View > List Modified or View > List My Modified - the latter will only identify files that are listed as being modified by you - and sometimes there are processes in place that end up making modified files owned by someone else even if you initiated the modification.
