Preview not working in a newly created site

Hi,

We just created new Branch and WA for a new country site,we set up a virtual directory in IIS on TS server also ,but we are not able to preview the page in the Content Center,the strange thing is that we are able to preview the home page correctly by typing "http://localhost:correctportno" on the Teamsite Server and also by browsing it inside IIS Server.

The following link is not working "http://192.168.225.219/iw/cci/meta/injection/iw-mount/default/main/x/y/WORKAREA/WAname/index.aspx"

and showing "virtual directory not being configured error"

Any guidance from experts as in why this page is displaying correctly in TS server but not through Content Center?

Is there any clue from this output,we had set up3 new sites few months back without any issue and even now we are able to preview corretly in IIS On server ,its only in Teamsite that users are not able to preview and strangely it is giving same "virtual directory" missing error?

Check with some .net devloper i think it is a virtual dir issue at workarea level.

The following steps might help.

1. Allow the Active Server Pages in the IIS Manager:

a. Launch IIS Manager from Control Panel > Administrative Tools > Internet Information Services (IIS) Manager.
b. Select your local computer.
c. Click Web Service Extension.
d. In the right panel, check whether Active Server Pages is allowed. If not, highlight it, and click Allow.

2. Reset the AllowPathInfoForScriptMappings setting:

a. Check your iw-home\install\tspostreboot.log file for the command:
cscript //nologo "C:\Inetpub\AdminScripts\adsutil.vbs" set W3SVC/id/AllowPathInfoForScriptMappings 1
b. Launch a Command prompt, and paste the command:
cscript //nologo "C:\Inetpub\AdminScripts\adsutil.vbs" set W3SVC/id/AllowPathInfoForScriptMappings 1
c. Modify the flag 1 to 0, as follows:
cscript //nologo "C:\Inetpub\AdminScripts\adsutil.vbs" set W3SVC/id/AllowPathInfoForScriptMappings 0
d. The result that allows using .asp pages will be: AllowPathInfoForScriptMappings : (BOOLEAN) False

Hi Mav,

Thanks for all your guidance ,there are two tspostreboot files in the described directory ,there is no log file with the same name?can you please share your opinion what should be done in such case(as in just copying the commands from solution and running) ?
