error writing site map file

Hi Experts,

I am facing an issue. Details for the issue:

Currently all the users, working on TeamSite7.2.1 are facing an issue while creating any node. As user creates / updates any node and error message "Error writing the site map file" appears. Whereas, on downloading default.sitemap to local system to verify the breakdown, we see that default.sitemap is well-formed and changes done by user are intact.

Prior creating a new branch "US", we had another branch called "XYZ_US". So we created a new branch "US" and created a new site within it called "en-us". Later apart from default.sitemap, default.site, we copied over the pages and templatedata respectively from "XYZ_US" keeping all the EA's and ID untouched, so no issue on that part that to without using SPAR (being the most complex thing) and also deleted those sites in TeamSite.

Further to add-on, this site (en-US) actually been rename to "us" then due to business requirement we again renamed to "en-us". For now on Staging environment we also had another "US_Backup" site parallel to "en-us" that I have deleted, but still no luck in resolving the issue.

TS7.2.1 with .Net Integration
LS7.2.1

can you look into the teamsite logs to see if there are any errors.

if your manually copying files you could have ID collisions.
