Accessing DataType attribute in Metadata Capture Form

Hi All,

I have a Calendar Control in my MetaData Capture Form(MCF) on click of which i call a JavaScript file for some validation.
In that JavaScript file i need to get the the DataType (PrimaryDocumentType) of the file whose Metadata is being captured.
Im able to get the Extended Attributes by adding them as hidden fields in Metadata Ruleset file,but unable to get the Default Attributes like PrimaryDocumentType provided by teamsite.
So wanted to know if their is any way to get the PrimaryDocumentType of a file from a JavaScript through MCF.
