iwpt_compile.ipl not working

Hi,

When I try to compile the presentation template as following its not giving error...and also not writing the file jhool5.ipl...Even if there are errors in presentation template or if there are no errors its not giving any output...I do have full permissions to write in that directory
Can anyone help please reg this issue?

I think you have to qualify with iwperl.

EX:

You shouldn't need to specify iwperl on the command line if the ftype and assoc setup was done during the installation. Besides, if those weren't setup correctly you'd get an error about "iwpt_compile.ipl - no such command found" (or something like that)

However, if you want to get some idea of what's happening you could try using:

iwperl -d d:\Interwoven\Teamsite\bin\iwpt_compile.ipl ...

There are spaces in your paths for templatedata\ MCLA or is that just devnet formatting issues?

Yeah, I don't understand why you aren't getting any errors either. Is it just hanging there at the command prompt and you have to do a cntrl+c to end it, or is it just returning to a new line. How about a screen print of your command window after you run it? Just in case there's anything you're missing in your post that we might see visually.

You should have continued with the original post so that people have a bit of history about your progression with trying to get this going. Plus, you seemed to have abandoned that original post without letting everyone know if Ghoti's suggestion worked. Feedback is good for those who read that post in the future.

Thankyou for all the responses.

.Actually I got that issue(Could not load dcr) resolved, Actually i gave the name of the dcr wrong so after realizing I could compile.

But now I am not getting any output neither the debug file is written nor it gives me any errors and exits to

\Interwoven\Teamsite\bin> without any errors.

And also our preview functionality is not working.It gives the error
//servername/default/main/jetnet/WORKAREA/shared/zz_tst_administrator_5_1262796775701_administrator_preview.html could not be found. and also the generate option just returns a blank html page. This happens with al the branches. We contacted Autonomy regarding this and we are waiting for the response.
