TeamSite 6.7.2.0 Build Number: 69626
User Privi : Master
Templating.cfg : preview dir “/”

When I tried to preview the dcr using the new tpl , the following error occurred

Hint : -
1.) This issue has been addressed many time in Dev Net, (mostly permission error)
so I checked all the permission from Branch level to the file , I created a new WA_ with
new permissions , but no hope
2) The tpl woks with out error in another branches in the Same TS Server and other TS server running on Windows

Please guide me other reson for error /where to look for more details

I believe you copied your TPL from other branch. If so, did it work for the first time without making any edits to the TPL (also to the DCR if its also copied) after copying to the new branch?

This seems to be due to permission issue for "templatedata" directory only.As the log says, its not able to open a file for wirrting the ouput at that location.

you can try with verifying the permissions of "templatedata" dir with the other branches where its working fine.

No , I am working on different TS running on Different OS,
I edited the. tpl file manually other than copying

Thanks for pointing the permission issue,
I checked the permission from the OS level but later I find the current sub branch was inherited the ts_group _1 permission
( Branch Users and Roles) from the Branch hierarchy ,
I removed it and added the new ts_froup_2 , It fixed the error
