Error while installing workflow modeler

I am getting the following error while installing workflow modeler client.

Get Framework variables failed
Unable to get product home directory[IW_PRODUCT_DIR] variable or modules directory [IW_MODULES] variable.

Has anyone faced this issue before?

Haven't seen it. Which version of WFM, and what OS are you installing it on? (Make sure it's supported)

You can try it from scratch again. I would you ditch the executables you had, Download a fresh version again from support site and then try installing it it should work.

Are you installing the WFM on the machine where teamsite server is installed OR
on the client machine ?
