Could not open manifest

Hi All,

I am getting the following error when I try to preview a DCR.

"Could not open manifest".

Please advice me on how to get rid of this.

The KB is rather generic. It says ot verify that the user has write permissions to the templatedata folder or the workarea they are running in.

PT compiling error - Could not open manifest file

PT compiling error can occur when permission is not set properly in the /templatedata folder within a workarea.

In TS 6.7.1 SP1 with Patch 1, the zz_ temporary manifest files are now being saved in /templatedata by default. If the logged in user does not have the proper permission they will see the following error message pop up, "An error occured during PT compiling. Please see more details in log files."

From within the iwutild_cmdout.log the following error will be seen,
"Could not open manifest: Y:\default\main\\zz_****_manifest"

This error may indicate that the user is not the owner or does not belong to the group that have sharing access to the workarea. The user will need to be added to the group or make the user the owner of the workarea.
