Admin UI error in TS 7.2

I have TS 7.2 and have Master access. On my First login when I clicked on Admin tab I got below error
org.apache.jasper.JasperException: org.apache.jasper.el.JspELException: /widget/application/application.jsp(88,4) '${iw:getState(pageContext.request)}' Problems calling function 'iw:getState' at org.apache.jasper.servlet.JspServletWrapper.service(JspServletWrapper.java:417) at org.apache.jasper.servlet.JspServlet.serviceJspFile(JspServlet.java:336) at org.apache.jasper.servlet.JspServlet.service(JspServlet.java:265) at javax.servlet.http.HttpServlet.service(HttpServlet.java:803) at ........

After this whenever I am trying to login, it redirects me to iw.admin.ui and get this error. I deleted cookies and temp files but no luck.

Any ides how can I resolve this error and how can I simple login into iw.ui

Try going back to CCpro from that view and the logoff and close the window.

In a new window try logging into TeamSite and it should take you to CCPro view rather than your Admin view.

Regarding your other problem what do you see in the logfiles. In general most of the admin issue for latest version of TeamSite was due to improper installation of admin component. Look at logfiles if you see any useful info.
Else you might have to install the Admin Component again.

But earlier even though I type www.cms.com it redirects me to admin UI. From log I got - ERROR com.interwoven.ui.teamsite.access.UserPreferencesImpl () - Error getting properties from EDB:Failure in operation ... Any idea how to resolve this issue and can get into the Admin UI...

Did you guys install LiveSite Site Publisher along with TeamSite, as I asked you earlier, did your Admin UI ever worked after the Installation and Reboot?

You would probably have to modify the entity DB entry for the user to change their last known location in order for it not to try to take you directly to the Admin UI. Either that or explicitly remove the user from the TS system and re-add them (I believe the iwuseradm CLT may work, either that or the iwuser CLT)

I know this is an old thread, but this just started happening to me with my user account. I was able to have a colleague access the admin screen fine on my computer. I even had him remove my account from TeamSite through the admin GUI and the re-add it. I am still unable to get to the admin tab from any computer.

try removing your account using the CLT instead of the UI.

iwuser -d "domain\userid"

and then add back your account using the same CLT.

iwuser -c "domain\userid"

This had always fixed my issues with the Admin UI.

It won't delete the user account. After I try deleting it the creation command errors and says that the user already exists.

E:\Interwoven\TeamSite\bin>iwuser -d -tsuser corporate\myuser

E:\Interwoven\TeamSite\bin>iwuser -c -tsuser corporate\myuser
ERROR - unable to add entry to database: Item already exists

Was able to fix the issue. I went in as another user into the Administration area and remove the account having the issue from all the groups and also removed them from TeamSite. I then added the user back to TeamSite adn the groups and gave it the Platform Master role.

Removing them from the groups as well as from TeamSite seems to have done the trick. I can access the Administration area now with the account that was giving me the errors.
