SP cross branch browser ?

OK, have a number of image/flash objects. Default SP browser will only look in the local workarea. Due to support for many languages (which I am seeing some fundamental issues in SP anyway) we need to host the images/flash on another branch.

Only option I know of is to use a DCR and hten use the ability to search other branches. Any other ideas ?

TS 6.7.2 with a 7.1 upgrade in the near future (Linux)

If by that you mean a well known "browse_for_link" hack - you can perhaps try to use it outside of the DCR as well.

As long as you have JS Module to stick it in (not necessarily FormAPI module) you can run "browse_for_link"
with proper settings and call your own Function(s) from the "hier_callback" to propagate resulting file Path
wherever needed.

Depending on the thread you'll have perhaps to find TS JS Library that contains "browse_for_link" to include, etc
