How to generate RSS Feed

I am new to Teamsite (ofcourse LiveSite). I am assigned a task for creating RSS feed for our website. Could anyone help me out how to generate the RSS feed out of my website data using Teamsite (or Livesite)?

This is documented, however the general summary is:

1. Look at the existing RSS feed component (depends on version of your Site Publisher), (note the content type of the component's skin)
2. Create a new component that generates feeds (usually by copying the existing one and customizing the feed to save time)
3. Create a new page that has RSS or ATOM page type (this will generate the outer XML for the RSS feed)
4. Add 1 or more components that generate the actual feeds which then become part of the entire RSS document
