WFM not able to start the CGI Task automatically, if CGI preceeded by external task

I have created a workflow using workflow modeler. Below are the task list and sequence. All the external tasks are designed in java (not in perl).
1.start
2.external task
3.CGI task (immediate = true)
4.external task
5.CGI task (immediate = true)
and so on....
When the workflow starts its going through the sequence like first start, external task and then CGI task and so on....But the problem here is for every CGI task we have to go to workflow tab in content center UI and then click "Start Input Task" Button, even if i set immediate=true. I read in one of the devnet forums to use CSGITask.chooseTransition instead of CSExternalTask.chooseTransition. Can any one provide sample piece of code for this CSCGITask.chooseTransition, where we have to use this and how we have to use this CSCGITask.chooseTransition method. And also what is the alternate method for iwcallback in java ?

You need to spend a bit more time reading the manuals and various forum posts - you will NEVER get your CGI Task to fire off immediately baed on the flow you posted.

Read the Workflow Developer's Guide (not the Workflow Modeler guide) - search for the word "immediate" - in the 671SP1 version of the document, the information you're looking for is on page 107.
