please suggested is it possible to create LiveSite .Net Component.

If you are on TS 7.1 and want to use .NET components, I would advice you to upgrade to 7.3 (due soon) or atleast TS7.2.1.

Plus, your company may be better off engaging Autonomy professional services.

.NET wasn't supported until 7.2.1 and it required manual installation
7.3 has full .NET installer support.

component development is similar but Livesite allows ASP.NET controlles to be embedded within the component. in order to accomplish this you have to do all your dynamic functionality Via .NET controlls.

I recomend you contact support for addtional documentation.

In order to create .NET component, follow the below steps:

1. Create New Component using HTML type
2. Copy and paste your .NET code under Appearance XSL

If Datums are defined under Content XML, then use those Datum values within $MODEL token as we generally use it.
