existing value as default of new field in dct

We have about 1500 dcr's on our site, every dcr has a page id.

I would like to be able to create a new field on the dct as a replicant but use that dcr's page id as the default value.

I guess I need to write an inline to get the value of the page id in the dcr as it loads and display as the default of the new field. Is this possible?

I don't think you can do this with <inline>, since the inline code is executed before the form loads, and the DCR is not available at that point.

You _can_ do it with FormAPI, if you're using TST 5.5.2 or later.
