css and js not applying for component Teamsite 7.1

Hi ,

While previewing the component css and js are not applying, but they are appplying in the page level.Kindly provide a solution.

The javascript and css are loaded from the site you select in "Preview Settings".

Sorry eventhough we select the proper site from where the css and js are coming they are not being applied on the component preview

Try editing the page settings itself and see if the CSS is listed.

He's talking about component preview, not page preview.

For the site you're selecting, edit the default.site file for it and make sure that your css and js files are there.

If they are, try creating a page and adding your component to it. Do the css and js work now? If so, it should work in component preview as well.

Thank you for your reply, but when i add the components in the page level its working fine.

Only the component preview in not working.
