TeamSite Search Question

We are using TeamSite search and in that we are getting different results for different user roles.

I did go through Search config manual to see if there is any user role settings for search but did not get anything.

My questions is, how to disable the role related setting in search result? My intention is to display the same search result to a user irrespective of his/her role on the branch.

Has anyone come across such scenario.

I guess, there are no role-based customization for Search. The role of that user should have privilege to Search content.

I just did couple of quick tests in our 7.2.1 environment with Master and Editor roles, and results were same.

Hope both the users (with different roles) are searching with same criteria?

Yes, both users are using same search criteria.

The role of that user should have privilege to Search content.

How do set or check if the role has search privilege

Migrateduser

Log in to TeamSite CC, go to Administration console >> User Management >> Roles.

Then click on the particular role, and see if Search is available for that role under Branch-specific privilege >> Files, Forms and Folders.
