Yes. You can modify the datacapture.cfg file for custom tags. This file resides at the location "iw-home\local\config\datacapture.cfg".
Jenni,Although the above poster is somewhat correct, it depends on your version.I recommend you open the TeamSite Administration Guide for your version and read up on both the "Configuring Metadata Capture" and "Next Generation Tagger GUI" sections. Assuming you are on 6.7.1 or greater, you'll want to follow the latter.Two key things you'll want to read up on:- Configuring metadata-rules.cfg to use tagging rules specific to branch/workarea/directory/file type, etc..- Creating individual datacapture configuration files under local/config/tagui/rulesets60 for each of your custom tagging rules, instead of using the single datacapture.cfg file in local/config (the old way before 6.7.1).Hope that helps.~Jeff
Yes. jbonifaci is right. We can configure the rules specific to branch and workarea using the "iw-home/local/config/metadata-rules.cfg" and writing those rules into local/config/tagui/rulesets60 or datacapture.cfg, which depends on the version of Teamsite you are using.
