I'm "using" Novell's NDS on a separate server.

I put "using" in quotes because it has been an 8-month nightmare trying to integrate with NDS. First, it was determined that Interwoven's 5.0.1 implementation of LDAP just blew. So I upgraded to 5.5.2, with SP1. Now, we're running in to some problems with network sockets on the NDS server sitting in the IDLE/WAIT state and not returning to the pool of available sockets like they're supposed to.
