MediaBin 4.6.x to 7.2

We have a web application that uses MediaBin web services to communicate with the MB server v4.6. We now have a new MB 7.2 available and would like to make the application work with the new version of MB.
Are there any recommended steps from Autonomy that we can use to make the change or should we just change the server name to point to the new MB?

In addition to the existing web services in older versions of MB ,
VMB uses few additional web services . You can find theses details in the manuals

You can point the custom web application to the webservices available in RIA/MediaBinWebService/ folder.

RIA client needs to be installed to get the access to legacy and new generation VMB webservices API.
