Customize the “Select a Workflow” screen in order to rearrange the workflow list

We have a big list of workflows and our customers want to rearrange this list according to, most frequently use preference order, not according to the alphabet.
Does anybody know if it is possible to customize the “Select a Workflow” screen in order to arrange the workflow list as we want?

Play around with leading white-space and/or underscores to get the order you want - "alphabetically" - that's about the only choice you have over all.
Besides that, making sure that only relevant workflows appear for a given context (branch, vpath, group, role, user, command) should also help to reduce the "clutter".

The only other choice I can think of is to make a workflow wrapper workflow - i.e. a workflow that contains a single CGI Task in which you can do your own select-a-workflow screen and then, based on what was selected, invoke a new workflow (for the selected one) and end the wrapper workflow.

I also think you are masking a symptom rather than fixing the problem.

If you have a big list of WFs, I find it highly unlikely that all of them actually apply. Start turning WFs off by branch/role/user/command first. Systems I do mostly have only 1 WF available (sometimes 2).

If you have 6 WFs that actually can run on a submit for a user/role/branch, then you can look into combining them into 1 or 2 workflows.
