Teamsite Import - Validate file name

BlackNight

Hi All,

I have a requirement to validate the file name just before importing it to teamsite. This validation is to check whether any special characters are included in file name. Can you please advice on me how to achieve this?
I have heard that this can be done using "OOTB import functionality" or through "command triggers".

But I have no idea on how to achieve this?

So can someone please help me?

Thanks in advance!

You can use custom browse button for this and do the validation in IPL file. Please let me know if youa re not clear so that I can send you a code snippet.

You can use the callout event. Add callout instead of the browse, then on the callout event call the window.open(Url for the Browser and also the callBackFunction ).

In the callBack function add code for validation of the filename.
