Is it possible to show the deleted files only, without showing "All *and* Deleted Files". Would it be possible to enable a view that shows you only the deleted files so that you do not have to comb through a list of all files to find them?

As far as I know there is no OTB View to show only deleted Files.

It should not be that hard to create custom menu that shows Area's deleted Files.
If you feel adventurous, you may even try to create new custom "View" using OTB
View JSPs as a starting point. That'll be less trivial than custom menu.
(hint - look in ...web/ccpro/filesys/area_navigation/lists for JSPs mapped to
CC Pro "View" Commands).

Is it possible? Sure.
Is it possible OOTB? No. You would have to code your own UI for it using CSSDK.
