Component setting title tags ?

OK, the page title is defined by the page settings, though the browser title has more than just what is in that field.

What is building the rest of the title ? I was looking through the fixed layouts and did not see anything in there.

Is there a way I can grab a datum for the title instead ?

Tips/Pointers/RTFMs appreciated.

I am not sure of this, but as far i remember from top of my head there is setPageTitle() menthod under RequestContext interface to set the page title
