Livesite Sitemap Loading Exception

GOMATHY

Hi,

In our page we have a Menu Component and it reads the nodes from the Sitemap and populates the menu with appearance styles. This menu component works fine in the IE7 but in IE8 and firefox3.6 this menu component gets disappeared from the page and other component in the page seems to be working fine. And when i checked the view source of the page in IE8 it has some exception specifying the Sitemap not found and could not get data of the default.sitemap.Please find the attached document having the exception. Please suggest me.

Adding further to this..looks like it affects only the component which have Sitemap implemented with it.. other components which have external(using java) implemented within them work fine.

Unfortunate size-effect of nested java exceptions is that the actual exception is at the bottom of the stack track and not the top.

The actual cause:

Caused by: java.io.FileNotFoundException: /usr2/wlp_apps1032/iw-runtime/sites/CashProUniversity/default.sitemap (No such file or directory)

Is the file deployed and is it accessible?

GOMATHY

Yes the files are deployed and is accesible.Because the same page when viewed in IE7 works fine but in IE8 it throws these exception. Please suggest.

AlexC

The exception makes no sense because it is a backend one that should not depend on the browser type. Are you sure the exception happens during IE8 page rendering? Can you isolate the component by itself on an empty page and reproduce it?
