why does files do not get submitted to staging

Hello

I had a issue when i am trying to submit Custom_instantiation.cfg file to staging. I don't see anything in Staging Area. So when i check in staging area i see only default_content.xml file. Is there anything that i have to do before.

What exactly the issue is ? Is it giving any error ?
Check if your file is private i.e. in the properties of that file check if "Do not Submit" is checked.

@vaibhav2288: It doesn't give any error. After i submit my files to staging area. I don't see my files.

What is the full path to the location you are looking for this file in staging?

Is the file in the workarea still marked as modified?

How are you submitting the file?

First Question - Are you able to submit the file ?

Second Question - Did you check the permission on your role to submit the file ?

Third Question - Is the file locked ?

I believe check you permissions there you will find the answer.

Second Question - I have Master role.

Third Question - No File is not locked.
