Where "My Favorites" are getting stored

sumitkatre

Hi,

Do any one know where at backend "My Favorites" of TS are getting stored I checked at location "iw-home/local/entities/data" I found files but even modifying these files at backend "My Favorites" are not reflecting on TS UI. Actually we are moving out TS to new server and we need to migrate TS user's "My Favorites" to new server.

Thansk & Regards

Are you migrating to a new server with the same version of TS, or are you upgrading TS by moving to a new server with a fresh installation of a newer version of TS?

Generally, the location you cited is correct - though you should probably only attempt making such modifications when TS is down and users are thus not able to be logged in.

If you're upgrading to a different version of TS on the new server, it is quite possible (and likely even) that the format of the entity database files may have changed - and that you cannot just blindly copy the content from the data file on one server to the data file on the other.
