Fixing Common Services

trying to upgrade Solaris 10 from 7.1 to 7.2

Ran the installer, need to push up Common Services first.

No problem ran that one, went fine, no errors.

Reboot, try to run installer again, it tells me that it cannot reach the common services and I am stuck

Very little in the logs, when it tries to reach server:9080/iw-registry-restservice/execute it gets connection refused.

Nothing is running on 9080

I checked my DB connections, they are correct and appear to be working.

I cannot find any logs for Common Services.

Any tips/pointers/RTFMs appreciated

Is jboss running ? That is what runs CS

No jboss is not running, i tried to start it manually but it stop 30 secs after

Without that you are SOL. Better look through the logs and see why it is not installing. It may be a DB related issue.

The service is installed, just dont work ... the log didnt give more information !

Since you are on Windows, you might want to also look at the Event logs...

Hey SebPRG, I am getting the exact same error what you got. How did you resolve it. I am trying to upgrade TS from 7.1 to 7.2 on a linux box.
