Hi All,
We are facing very strange issue on our TeamSite server. We are unable to execute workflow external task, formAPI callserver nor cgi callout.
For CGI-Callout we got error in error.log which states:

[Tue Jan 19 07:48:23 2010] [error] [client 10.14.74.100] (OS 193)%1 is not a valid Win32 application. : couldn't spawn child process: C:/Interwoven/TeamSite/httpd/iw-bin/CEB/show_widgets.ipl

Server configuration is:
TS 6.7.2
OS: windows server 2003 SP2

Could you please provide any means to find the root cause of the issue?

Chances are, you have zero-length "perl" File in iw-perl/bin directory. If so, delete it

Thank you so much!!! Issue is resolved now.
I think those files got created when I executed perl script with iwperl rather than using iw-home\iw-perl\bin\iwperl.
Is there any specific reason for this behavior?

More likely that someone (or some process) had run a command with incorrect STDOUT/STDERR redirect

I had this same issue after upgrading to 7.2.1 from 6.7.2. Turns out when you install TeamSite and specify the installation directory it creates a folder called TeamSite no matter what. For example if you specify

\iw-home then 'iwgethome.exe' will return

\iw-home\TeamSite.

This meant I had to update the first line of all my perl scripts to reflect the new path to the perl bin directory:

#! d:\iw-home\TeamSite/iw-perl/bin/iwperl -w

After this the errors went away. Thanks for the post!
