Is there a way to enable/disable task_output file (i.e. task_outputXXXX.xml)

One of my client was having unexpected behavior when running Workflow,
the files are deployed the file before approval process.

I have asked them to send us log files including all task_output in C:\iw-home\tmp. Unfortunately they don't have any task_output logs.

This project was done by old colleagues who has gone, i know nothing about it Smiley Sad

Does anyone know how to enable the task_output log file so i can investigate it in future?

task_output files are, I believe, the result of enabling $DEBUG (with or without $VERBOSE [I recommend 'with']) within iw_solution_email.ipl -- which may help you track down why certain individuals aren't receiving email notifications from the workflow. Most likely it is due to a change in the mail server or someone put non-local email addresses in place and the mail server won't send to them (enabling both DEBUG and VERBOSE will help you track down these issues -- but remember to disable them as soon as you have some information as they do produce a lot of output)

The fact that the files are getting deployed without the reviews being performed suggests a poor design decision being used for timeout transitions (e,.g.: "if the user doesn't reject the work in N-minutes, assume it is approved and transition to the next task")

Beyond that, you'll have to debug things yourself.
