CGIs migration to TS 7.2.1

Migrating from TS 6.7.1 SP1 to TS 7.2.1 on RH Linux 5.4.
Some of the functions were written in CGI initially developed for TS 5.5.x.
After moving CGI to TS 7.2.1 (under iw-home/httpd/iw-bin), I see Error 500 while executing most of these functions. Some of them execute correctly and some don't, that's when I have a doubt if the ones that are not working have anything to do with change from Apache Tomcat to Jboss.
Someone out here already gone through this path.. Any thoughts..

Are they executable ? What happens if you just run blah.cgi ?

(assuming blah.cgi was one that was failing)

All the failing cgi files had database call through DBD/DBI modules.
I am waiting for IW to respond on the compatible modules.

I wouldn't hold your breath.
Back in the day (5.x and earlier) Interwoven shipped compiled versions of several DBD modules; then they upgraded the version of Perl that was being shipped and also found some legal implications that restricted them (or so they said) from being able to ship the compiled versions of the DBD modules any more - and the onus is now completely on the customer to download and compile them.

If you search the forums you may be able to find some ancient posts from me and some others who went through this process. Alternatively you may be able to change your code to use the ODBC connection process provided OOTB with the standard DBI module.

If you do decide to try to build the DBD modules yourself - plan to spend at least a full day or two going through all the README files associated with the DBD module you download - there's a lot of information there that you will need to figure out before you even begin trying to build it.

Can you make sure that the scripts that don't work have the necessary libraries and no syntax errors? Also, if the script make use of any files in the filesystem that can't be located.
