Java/CSSDK - logging question 2

I can't get any log info in servletd_out.log for custom externaltask whatever i set in log4j.xml.
if i set to put log info into my own file (instead of servletd_out.log). Also, can not get anything in custom.log.

My log4j.xml:

Did you refresh the web app after your changes / updates in the log4j.xml file?

yes, the custom.log was created automatically, but can not get anything logs inside. It's very strange.

it could be that you are using the wrong logger name. Try hardcoding it in both log4j.xml and in your java code to the exact same name "com.interwoven.customerexperience.TimoutNotify". You are using class.getName() in your code which might not resolve to the same name since i don't see the package name.
Both changes require running maketool_kit.

For testing purposes you may want to try just writing to standard output and then it should show up in the servletd_out.log. This would confirm that it is not a permission problem writing to the servletd_out.log but something with your log4j setup.
