Other flavors of Linux?

Just curious out there to see if anybody try installing TeamSite on other linux distro's besides redhat? I know that the support site only officially support redhat enterprise 5, but curious if anybody tried other linux like ubuntu, fedora, debian, etc...? Would the uvfs package work on those other linux distros?

Why would you risk installing an application as expensive as TeamSite is on an unsupported OS?

People just do it for the heck of it? Windows 2003 Standard Edition wasn't officially supported by Interwoven, yet people still tried to install TeamSite on that OS.

I wonder who's paying for this expensive "heck of it" and why? After all installation/configuration headache
absolute best you can hope for is some unsupported TS Instance - and you may never get that far
