Overwrite Function not working as expected

According to the TS Author manual for using WebDesk Pro (TS 552), the Authors can overwrite files on import only if they check the Overwrite button.
When logging into WDP as an Author - I do not see the button, and if I import a document named the same as an existing document in the Workarea - it is overwritten. The same thing occurs as any other user role - whether the Overwrite button is checked or not.
Can anyone verify this functionality?
