Unable to allocate shared memory for request

Hi,

We're using TS 6.5 SP 2 on Solaris. OpenDeploy 6.5.

Currently, we can do all functions in TS but can't publish any files. When doing a ./iwodserverstatus on OD, it says OD is alive.

I can't seem to find any error from the OD logs. However, found a lot of "Unable to allocate shared memory for request" in iwtrace.log ever since this issue occured.

Could it be because there's not enuf memory for the server? The server spec is 2.5GB memory and 1 CPU. Cache size is set at 30000.

What else should I check in order for the deployment to run again? Please help.

First of all - I don't believe there is a 6.5 version of OpenDeploy - chances are you mean 6.2.1
Second of all - You need to look carefully at the ODHOME/od.log, ODHOME/od.err, and ODHOME/log/servername_odbase.log for indications of errors specific to OpenDeploy.

2.5 GB sounds like it might be a tad bit on the low side, but I don't think that's the issue unless you have a lot of other applications (besides TS and OD) running on the server.
