Hi,

We experience a lot of crashes of the MediaBin server. The problem is that we are not notified for he crash unless we logon and realize that the server has crashed.

Is there a utility/tool that can check the "sanity" of the server?

Any hints/help will be greatly appreciated.

I am concerned about the first statement as I assure you this is not expected or typical! Can you correlate the crashes with a particular set of assets? Please contact support for help as this is certainly something that needs to be looked into.

As to the second section, people have written heartbeat scripts that essentially try to log in at periodic intervals and report failure.
