Could not open an output file in Solaris10 by using PERL

I have customized an upload button by using cgi, which works very well in windows. When I used it in the solaris10, it didn't work. It could not return true when running "open (OUTFILE,">$target");", so I cannot output my uploaded file to the target path. Can anyone help? Thanks a lot!

What is the Error message? You know, $! and all that...
Good chances are, your process does not have writing access to this Directory/File

Good chances are, your process does not have writing access to this Directory/File

And not just the file, but it must have access to all the folders above that, which I have seen as a problem.

Dump it to /tmp and see if everything works. Then start walking down the folders and see where it fails.
