Presentation Templates with 6.7.2 and higher

Hi All,

We are using OS and NON OS Users. One of my team mentioned to me today that presentation templates with 6.7.2 and higher need be in XSLT to support OS and NON OS users. Is that correct understanding? To my knowledge, Interwoven was going to support Legacy Presentation Templates and had no plans to deprecate them. Please advice.

Your teammate is correct. There is really nothing IWOV can do in this matter, unless they make iwpt_compile a service similar to the XLS compiler. To preview or generate, you need to execute a process on the server. That is typically done through a shell, which has to run as the user. If it is a non-OS user, then no shell. No shell means no preview/generate.
