Targeting - SiteMap Segmentation
Matias
Hello,
I created a new segment for my site, and I wanted to apply different navigation depending on the segment. However, after I created the segment for the site, I dont see the segment in the SiteMap under my site. I do see the option of enable/disable segments. I enable my segment, and I still dont see it. According to the manual, I should see a new node @ the same level as Primary with the segment name.
Is that correct? Are there any logs I can track?

Do you see the sitemap for this segment in the sitemap tab? whatever you see in the sitemap tab is what you should expect in the sitemap file including multiple segments.

Thanks Crsb,
I dont see the segment in the site map.
According to the guide, it should add a new element @ the same level as the primary nav with the segment name. But it's not working.

What version of Sitepub Teamsite are you using?
looking at 7.2.x the organization is a little different due to localization functionality.
there will be a root node based on the master site, then there is a subnode that contains the actual site definition. if you expand that you will see a primary segment and then your other segment as sibling nodes.
If you look at the attached gif your see site "segment test" with the "primary" and "blah" segments

Thanks for your repply.
I'm using TS 7.2.1
What you sent me in your image is what I expected to see. However, mine only has a "Primary" and I dont see my other segments.
The attached image shows that I have the segment selected for the site.
Are there any logs/trace that I can look @?

Ok. I found what the issue was. We created other sites and made copies of the sitemap file. This meant that the sitemap id was the same for more than one site, which created an issue in the editor. Once we deleted the other site maps, it worked fine. Thanks for your help.
