Hi,
I have a question regarding iwsubmit.While i am submit to any to file to staging it is taking comment like this 'this is update about tpl'.
Actually i am trying use command line tool iwsubmit if i gave same comment for iwsubmit it is taking only 'this' remaining part is not coming. Any idea about this?

Are you using the single quotes just like you put in the post?

Here is command i am using

"iwsubmit -w -u -c $comment1 -i $comment2 $file1 $comment 3"

$comment3 = "this is updated on tpl".But i am getting output only this.

right... the comments themselves must be enclosed in quotes I believe. try the following insteadl:

"iwsubmit -w -u -c \"$comment\"1 -i \"$comment2\" $file1 \"$comment3\""

Basicly add to your string literal quotation marks.

Assuming this is Perl code - a nicer way to do this (for clean code) is:

qq(iwsubmit -w -u -c "$comment1" -i "$comment2" $file1 "$comment3");

Actually, you should probably be $file within quotes too, just in case someone is trying to process a file with spaces or some other non-expected character in its name.
