Livesite deployment workflow fails after upgrade of OpenDeploy to 7.1

We recently upgraded our OpenDeploy from version 6.2 to 7.1, whilst keeping TeamSite at 6.7.2 and livesite/sitepublisher at 3.1

The upgrade went fairly smoothly, the OD 7.1 install tool detected the old OD 6.2 install and performed an update, keeping all configurations (paths, ports, etc) the same as before - and this for the OD base and OD admin servers on the teamsite host as well as the OD receivers on the Livesite Runtime hosts.

Since the upgrade, I am able to stop/start OpenDeploy, and I am able to manually execute OD deployments via the command line. I have a number of custom workflows that call OD deployments, and these work just fine as well. The only thing that doesn't work is the built-in Livesite deployment workflow: it fails at the step where it should hand over to OD to perform the actual deployment of the files, and I find the following in the servletd_out.log file:

The user mentioned in the stack trace (lsite-od) exists, the password of that user as specified in the opendeploy.properties file is valid (as it should be, since that's a livesite file and I haven't changed anything at the livesite level)

Does anyone here have any idea of what I should look at to get this working again?

In OD 7.x, Access Service has changed. CSF web services are hosted on Axis 1.4. Also the web services URL has changed slightly. In your TS 6.x PLC WF, all of these configurations are probably pointing to the older version of OD.

Thanks for the insight. Would you have an idea of where i need to change this? I currently have a file called opendeploy.properties that stores the various configuration options (host names, ports, user names and passwords) used to setup "LiveSite's OpenDeploy Web Service integration" (that what it says in the comment block at the top of the file), but I don't see any options in there for configuring URLs.

Of top of my head, I can't recall where that configuration is stored. Whether it is in a properties file or buried in the code itself. Additionally, I am not sure if PLC from 6.x has been certified and tested against OD 7.x. You may have to do play around with it a little bit.

Just in case anybody comes across this in the futur: after some back and forth with IVOW support this has been accepted as a bug: OpenDeploy 7.1 is not compatible with the out of the box LiveSite workflow that ships with LiveSite 3.1. The problem seems to be that the default LiveSite workflow uses a hardcoded url to check if OpenDeploy webservices are running before contacting OD to perform the deploy. Since this url has changed in OD 7.1, the workflow keeps failing because it thinks the webservices are down, even when they are up.

On our end, we worked around this by writing a custom workflow to handle our LiveSite content deployments, and using a deploy task to invoke OD to handle the deployment.
