Deployments are failing

Hi,

When I execute the following:

CLIENT_CMD: 'C:/Applications/Interwoven/OpenDeployNG\bin\iwodstart Monitor/monitor_deploy -inst Workflow"1278951" -k area="Y:/default/main/MonitorSouthAfrica/WORKAREA/Shared" -k targetArea="D:/Websites/TSReviewWebSites/MonitorSouthAfrica" -k useNode="DeployMonStaging" -k defName="MonitorSouthAfrica" -k filelist="C:/Applications/Interwoven/TeamSite/tmp//filelist.1278951.1278967.20100127-150252.txt" -exttaskid 1278967'

The job fails in OD and when I checked the logs I see:

** Results = Locating OpenDeploy service.
OpenDeploy server host: localhost, RMI registry port: 9173
***ERROR - Could not establish RMI connection to the OpenDeploy server.
Please check that the OpenDeploy server is running.
Wed Jan 27 15:02:58 2010 - OpenDeploy Status Unknown. FAILED.
Wed Jan 27 15:02:58 2010 - odStatus = Completed with error
Wed Jan 27 15:02:59 2010 - callback (1) : OpenDeploy Status Unknown. FAILED.

No code has been implemented or configuration file has changed, any suggestions?

Did you check that all OD services are running?
Did you check that there's an OD service listening on port 9173?
What happens when you run iwodcmd serverstatus? (note: You should be using iwodcmd rather than iwodstart)
Did you check the ODHOME/od.log file?
Have you tried stopping / restarting the OD services?

Check your OD license is valid or not?
Check your services are up or not?
If everything is fine then try to run test deployment and post the output?

Hi,

i tried everything it was suggested before, the issue was some firewall setup in conjunction with an antivirus update. OD works normally now.

Hi,

I restarted OD the services in source and receiver servers and the problem went away.
