If you need to import a massive amounts of files into TS, copy them directly to the Y-drive or \iwmnt.
You are correct Karel. But i want to know, what is the maximum size limit a business user can import through OOTB functionality?Somewhere i found that maximum limit is 5 MB. Is it correct?
We have our customers regularly uploading 15 + MB of file size. Mostly pdfs or docs. We 've had no issues. The only issue faced so far is with JRE compatibiltiy.
Hi Pawan,Do increase the Java Heap size 1. Open /servletd/bin/servletd in an editor 2. Search for the string -Xmx (By default, TS 6.7 set this to -Xmx512m) 3. Change the value to a larger value (ex. -Xmx1024m) and save the file 4. Restart Servletd by running "iwreset -ui"Thanks!Vinayak
Launchpad import is meant for convenience of uploading files with small sizes and small set of files. For importing large files or large set of files, it is better done through the filesystem mount.Autonomy's recommendation of the launch pad limits are less than 2000 files, total size of all files importing are less than 100MB. This recommendation is assuming a LAN connection. If on a WAN, then the limits would be much smaller. Also, JVM settings would not help.
