How was it used ?

There is no function called paging in TeamSite. So it was likely a related term (i.e. memory paging/swapping)

If you provide the actual context in which you saw this term being used, it might be easier to explain it.

It could mean server optimization (as in preventing the server from doing lots of paging during an operation) or it could mean scrolling in a browser window (e.g.: paging down to see the scrolled text) or you could have misread it (e.g.: SP/LS pages [.page files] being created, deployed, and/or rendered) or something else.

Thanks for your response actually the question was what Paging and version means ? Are they interrelated with each other.I think Version is all about creating version of pages ,but no idea about this paging concept.
