Configurable versus Script variable

Hi,

Can anybody explain what is the difference between the configurable variable and script variable in workflow modeler workflows? I've been reading through the workflow developer's guide, but it really does not explain it very well.

Simple things like if you have a custom_instantiation.cfg file, you have some item, how can you get that into your java code?

A configurable variable is one that is populated via the instantiation screen.

A script variable is one that is populated via javascript (which can include configurable variables in the logic).
