Components turned out to be empty

In the development server all the components turned out empty suddenly.I am not able to edit any of the existing components and create new components as well.There are no contents in the already created components eventhough i don find any date modified.

Can you give some more info, on your component? Are you linking your component to any DCR, see if that DCR is deleted or removed.

have you created any Template using this component, see if the content in there is visible. You can roll back to previous version of component and check for the missing content.

I am assuming that your db connections are intact, you might want to check that too. What does your log file say?

Thanks for the response.There was a problem in the java.removing the java file and a maketool_kit.ipl fixed it
